Restore a product and its original functionality. The aesthetic improvement of a product can involve making it look new, with limited or no improvements to functionality. Repurposed materials are often associated with architectural design features and art projects. However, identifying alternative uses for outdated assets will not only save disposal fees but also save material costs spent elsewhere.

Refurbish – The Economic Function of the Circular Economy

In general, ‘refurbish’ is often used in the context of restoring something (like a building, device, or piece of furniture) to a good condition by cleaning, repairing, or decorating it. It’s about making something old or worn out look and work like new again. This term is commonly used in industries like real estate and electronics. For example, a refurbished phone means the phone has been restored to its original condition and functionality.
